HOW ROYAL MAIL STRIKES MAY AFFECT YOUR ORDER
We were saddened to see the extent of the royal mail postal strikes over the pre Christmas period for 2022.
We send larger items via DPD, DHL and DX so cushions, lampshades, fabric, wallpaper and candles will not be affected by these strikes.

We send out greeting cards and wrapping paper orders via Royal Mail 2nd class postage. This is the free postage offer on the website.
What we are doing to help reduce times for customers
- We are working closely with our warehouse to make sure that processing times are as short as possible. Never more than 2 working days, they will often dispatch the same day the order arrives if before noon.
- For this Christmas period, we’re introducing a tracked 24 option for cards and wrap, at £3.50. As royal mail have said they will prioritise tracked 24 delivery. We do not think any orders sent via tracked 24 will arrive within 24 hours but think they will arrive with you significantly sooner
- We’re upgrading large stationery orders to send out with DHL, stationery orders over £45 will go out via DHL and not royal mail
DELIVERY AND RETURNS
We send our parcels within the UK via Royal Mail, DX, DHL or DPD. We choose the most cost effective and efficient delivery option possible. Delivery can take between 2-10 days from point of order. Please note, some of our delivery companies are struggling with delivery time due to covid and staffing issues which is out of our control. Sometimes items can be delayed.
Items in stock usually arrive within 7 days, lampshades are made to order and can take up to 14 days to arrive
We can send parcels via express next day delivery, we aim to dispatch within 1 working day and the parcel will be with you within 2-3 working days. If you need your items sooner please email hello@lornasyson.co.uk or phone the studio on 020 8465 9819 and we will try to help.

X-Small items – Free – Stationery, cards, wrapping paper and samples
Highlands and Islands UK
Large items – £15.00– cushions, lampshades, wallpaper, fabric
X-Small items – Free – Stationery, cards, wrapping paper and samples
Express UK – £9.50 (UK mainland excluding highlands and islands)
EU & WORLDWIDE
Large items -£45 – cushions, lampshades, wallpaper, fabric
X-Small items – £4.50 – Stationery cards and samples
We reserve the right to invoice for additional shipping for selected addresses (for example Highlands and Islands). Please note delivery times by courier companies are within normal working hours, 9-5, Monday to Friday.
EU Sales
Please be aware that we are based in the UK, and check what import taxes maybe now relevant for your country because of Brexit. Please not that the customer is responsible for any extra taxes or tariffs on any orders and Lorna Syson is not responsible for these.
If an item is out of stock we will inform you and let you know when it will be available.
Overseas delivery:
We can post all over the world. We send parcels via DPD or DHL depending on country. Please note that the buyer is responsible for any taxes your country may put onto the item coming into your country.
RETURNS
All our items are made with great care and we hope you like them. However, if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase please return it, in its original packaging, unused, within 30days for wallpaper and 14 days for all other items for a refund or exchange to:

Please email us to let us know it’s coming back along with tracking information, your order number and the name you purchased this under. Once received we will refund via your original payment method.
Please note that cut fabric are non-returnable. Please order fabric or wallpaper swatches to make sure that you are happy. We can provide stock clippings if necessary and reserve stock for 10days.
If you are returning any goods please retain your proof of postage as we cannot be responsible for any goods lost in transit without proof of sending. Please make sure that you have insurance for your products on their return journey. Please email or phone if possible if you are returning any items so we know to expect them.
