Award-winning designer Lorna Syson’s best selling Juneberry and bird cushion features two great tit illustrations. These gorgeous blue birds are a fantastic design for a modern and clean living room or bedroom.

As a child these beautiful Great Tits nestled outside Lorna’s bedroom window. Integral to British hedgerows, she fondly remembers growing up next to these colourful birds and recreated her childhood memories of them.

Lorna has illustrates other designs with blue tit’s this includes the spring ivy design which is in the blue or slate colourway.

Lorna’s eye was drawn to the lush leaves of ivy cascading down the walls of a Georgian home on her walk to the studio. For the blue tit, a regular garden visitor, plump berries offer rich pickings in the cooler months.

Independent designer Lorna Syson founded her studio in 2009 at Cockpit Arts, South East London. Now based in rural Oxfordshire, her British native species of bird-printed fabrics and wallpaper designs draw on her childhood in Warwickshire, holidays in Cornwall, and country walks with her dog, Jenkins, to create her uplifting nature-inspired patterns. The designs transport the viewer to witness the world through Lorna’s lens and invite them to find the beauty overlooked in their everyday.
