Blue Hydrangea Fabric Design UK

This hydrangea design with blue blooms is inspired by lazy summer days in the British countryside. Little orange ladybirds explore the shades of blue in a hydrangea bush. Lorna has really fond memories of sitting in her grandmothers sitting room and looking at the window to see a gorgeous blue hydrangea bush. She took cuttings from this bush and hope to have this in her own garden outside the window in the same way.

Part of Lorna’s garden collection inspired by the native flora and fauna found in our verdant domestic gardens. Lorna’s love of British Gardens has led her to explore a whole range of outdoor spaces, from the formal gardens of stately homes to her own Brockley roof terrace, and she has incorporated the shapes and shades of many well-loved favourites.

Our luxury feather filled cushions are made in the UK using our Hydrangea fabric which is a linen and cotton mix. The pattern is on both sides with a zip fastening.

Sold by the linear meter, this gorgeous fabric has a repeat which looks amazing in curtains and roman blinds. This fabric has been used by many curtain makers to make luxury handmade curtains and blinds

Digitally printed in the UK on high quality non woven paper. The blue hydrangea print looks fabulous as a feature wall but also as an entire room

Independent designer Lorna Syson founded her studio in 2009. Now based in rural Oxfordshire, her British native species of bird-printed fabrics and wallpaper designs draw on her childhood in Warwickshire, holidays in Cornwall, and country walks with her dog, Jenkins, to create her uplifting nature-inspired patterns. The designs transport the viewer to witness the world through Lorna’s lens and invite them to find the beauty overlooked in their everyday.
