My Hydrangea lampshade celebrates abundant summer flowers and the small creatures living among them. Layers of blue blooms provide a setting for little orange ladybirds, inviting you to look closer at the pattern.

Designed by me, Lorna Syson, an independent designer based in South Oxfordshire, this floral lampshade brings garden-inspired detail to a bedside table, living room lamp or ceiling pendant.

Inspired by summer gardens

Hydrangeas capture the feeling of long summer days, with their generous flower heads bringing colour to gardens and outdoor spaces.

Part of my Bloom collection, this design reflects my love of observing and photographing wildlife among flowering plants and shrubs. The ladybirds add a playful detail to the illustration, celebrating the life you discover when you pause to look among the petals.

Handmade in the UK

Each Hydrangea lampshade is made to order using fabric digitally printed in Lancashire and handmade into a shade in Bolton.

The fabric composition is 65% linen, 26% cotton and 9% nylon. Pattern placement varies depending on where the fabric is cut, so the arrangement of flowers and ladybirds may differ slightly from the photographs.

Styling your blue floral lampshade

Pair Hydrangea with natural wood and textured fabrics for a relaxed bedroom or living room. Repeat the blue tones through cushions, curtains or artwork to connect the lampshade with your existing furnishings.

For a simpler scheme, let the floral pattern become the focal point alongside plain upholstery. Small orange accessories can echo the ladybirds and introduce a warm accent.

Lampshades are all made to order and can take up to 10 days to arrive with you, especially at business times of the year such as Christmas. If you’ve ordered a lampshade alongside other products please note that the lampshade will arrive separately

The fabric is digitally printed in Lancashire on UK on 65% linen / 26% cotton / 9% nylon union fabric and handmade into lampshades in Bolton.

We will process your order within 1 to 3 days but we aim to process the same day, Monday to Friday excluding UK holidays. Lampshades are made to order and take 3 to 7 days.

Returns
All of our items are made with great care and we hope you like them. However, if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase please return it in the original packaging and unused within 30 days. Please contact us for a returns form.
