My Broom and Bee Dusk lampshade combines delicate botanical shapes with small yellow bee details. The grey background gives the design a gentle, understated feel, while the bees introduce a cheerful accent.

Designed by me, Lorna Syson, an independent designer based in South Oxfordshire, this linen lampshade adds character to a bedside table, living room lamp or ceiling pendant.

Inspired by my honeymoon in Leicestershire

Broom and Bee was inspired by my honeymoon hideaway in rural Leicestershire. The design brings back memories of warm May days and the pleasure of watching bees move between flowers.

I wanted to capture that small connection between plants and their visitors, turning a countryside memory into a pattern you can enjoy at home.

Handmade in the UK

Each Broom and Bee Dusk lampshade is made to order using 100% linen fabric, digitally printed in Lancashire and handmade into a shade in Bolton.

Pattern placement varies depending on where the fabric is cut, so the arrangement of bees and flowers may differ slightly from the photographs.

Styling your grey bee lampshade

Pair Broom and Bee Dusk with natural wood and textured fabrics for a relaxed bedroom or living room. Introduce small yellow accents through cushions, artwork or accessories to echo the bees.

Its grey palette makes it easy to combine with existing furnishings. Let the pattern provide detail among plain curtains and upholstery, or use it to soften a room with stronger colours.

Lampshades are all made to order and can take up to 10 days to arrive with you, especially at business times of the year such as Christmas. If you’ve ordered a lampshade alongside other products please note that the lampshade will arrive separately

The fabric is digitally printed in Lancashire in the UK on 100% Linen fabric and handmade into lampshades in Bolton.

Returns
All of our items are made with great care and we hope you like them. However, if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase please return it in the original packaging and unused within 30 days. Please contact us for a returns form.
