My Bluebell lampshade brings a little woodland beauty indoors. Its delicate floral pattern celebrates the bluebells that carpet British woodland in spring, creating a gentle focal point for a bedside lamp, living room lamp or ceiling pendant.

Designed by me, Lorna Syson, an independent designer based in South Oxfordshire, this floral lampshade combines original illustration with UK craftsmanship.

The inspiration behind my Bluebell design

This design began with sketches I made during my honeymoon at Dandelion Hideaway in 2014. Behind our accommodation was an ancient bluebell wood, filled with delicate flowers and soft, dappled light.

When Neil and I returned for our fifth anniversary in 2019, I combined those original sketches with fresh drawings to create my Bluebell pattern. Each lampshade carries a little of that special place into your home.

Lampshades are all made to order and can take up to 10 days to arrive, especially at busy times of the year such as Christmas. If you’ve ordered a lampshade alongside other products, please note that the lampshade will arrive separately

This floral lampshade featuring dancing bluebells is made from 56% Cotton/44% Linen and digitally printed in the UK.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the Bluebell lampshade on a ceiling or a lamp base?
You can order either fitting. Please choose “Ceiling pendant” or “Lamp base” before adding your lampshade to the basket so it is made for your intended use.

What sizes are available?
The Bluebell lampshade is available in a medium size (30cm diameter × 20cm high) and a large size (40cm diameter × 24.5cm high).

Where is the Bluebell lampshade made?
The lampshade is hand-rolled in the UK using digitally printed 100% cotton fabric. The Bluebell pattern is an original design by South Oxfordshire designer Lorna Syson.

Will the pattern look exactly like the photograph?
Pattern placement varies because each lampshade is made using a different section of the printed fabric.

Processing time
We will process your order within 1 to 3 days but we aim to process the same day, Monday to Friday excluding UK holidays. Lampshades are made to order and take 3 to 7 days.

Returns
All of our items are made with great care and we hope you like them. However, if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase please return it in the original packaging and unused within 30 days. Please contact us for a returns form.
