Often spotted brightening railway lines and other urban spaces, Lorna’s love of the butterfly bush began in her family garden.  Recreated in a sophisticated palette of green and white, Lorna has added pops of colour with some of her favourite pollinators.

Independent designer Lorna Syson founded her studio in 2009 at Cockpit Arts, South East London. Now based in rural Oxfordshire, her British native species of bird-printed Greeting Card designs draw on her childhood in Warwickshire, holidays in Cornwall, and country walks with her dog, Jenkins, to create her uplifting nature-inspired patterns. The designs transport the viewer to witness the world through Lorna’s lens and invite them to find the beauty overlooked in their everyday.
