British Birds Wallpaper UK Designer Luxury Paper
The British bird wallpaper, luxry fabric and FSC paper cards and stationery designs that Lorna has created are The Great Tit, Blue Tit, Red Robin, Goldcrest, Greenfinch, Long Tailed Tit, the Jenny Wren and Willow Tit. Lorna Syson has collaborated with the Royal Society for Protection of Birds (RSPB) to create a special collection inspired by her favourite birds and their habitats.
Dark Blue and Green Floral and British Birds Designer Wallpaper
This wallpaper design was supposed to be launched at Decorex International but as the world of events is all virtual these days I launched it online instead. This is the New Watlington collection, inspired by the natural flora and fauna found around the Oxfordshire countryside.
The non woven Watlington wallpaper refuses to shrink or expand over time. This floral and bird wallpaper with a dark navy blue background with indigenous British tree species and British birds such as blue tits, gold crests and black caps. You will also be able to spot a few butterflies hiding in there too.
Lorna’s Watlington design available in greeting cards, gift wraps and weekly planners. Watlington is located in Oxfordshire and borders with Buckinghamshire. This small parish nestles around the hamlets of Howe Hill, Christmas Common and Greenfield, all of which are an integral location embraced by the surrounding Chiltern Hills
Lorna’s contemporary bird motifs have always been an integral part of her signature design style so it makes perfect sense for her to team up with the RSPB. The two fabric patterns, which feature long-tailed tits and hummingbirds, celebrate the important work the RSPB do protecting birds here and abroad and 10% of sales will go to the charity.
Lorna worked with the RSPB to choose birds that are popular species both here and abroad to help raise awareness of the RSPB’s work in the UK and around the world where they run conservation projects across Africa and Asia.
Lorna says: “Collaborating with the RSPB has been a dream come true for me. I really admire the work they do and I am so delighted that a percentage of sales will go to the charity.”
Bird Fabric for Upcycling and Home Interiors
The second of the two designs; Tropical Hummingbird features hummingbirds who can be seen hovering acrobatically amongst honeysuckle in vivid tones of teal and mint. This beautiful and majestic design is the brighter of the two new designs and can be used to add a pop of colour to a more neutral interior whilst bringing the vibrant nature of the outside world into the home.
This design comes in two colourways, a Mint ground that adds a touch of freshness to any interior; or a Teal ground for a bold pop of colour. The two colourways of this design are available across a range of products from Stationery to Lampshades, Cushions and Wallpaper.
Try mixing and matching prints across the home to create a sense of depth and warmth. The two colourways look great alongside each other and can be paired with other designs in the collection to create a sophisticated and stylish interior.
