Christmas Gift Guide 2018 – Shop Independant

Small Business Saturday fell over the weekend of our annual Cockpit Arts Christmas Open Studios. As you may know, our studio based in Deptford, run by Cockpit Arts is the home of many small and independent designer makers and their businesses. Small Business Saturday, which falls on the 1st Saturday in December every year, helps to promote small businesses like ours, and encourages people to shop small for their Christmas presents and in general throughout the year. When someone buys a product from a small business, it provides the owner with a sense of satisfaction and happiness that can not be rivalled at big chain brands. We would like to thank you all for your continuing support and hope you will still get behind the brand after Lorna moves away from London to Oxfordshire, which will brings some exciting changes to the business. Although Lorna will no longer have a studio at Cockpit Arts, the move will provide new and exciting opportunities and Lorna will never forget the lessons leanrt and friends she has made over the years in her Deptford studio.
