Flowers at the Eden project

On route back to London, my husband and I called in at the Eden Project to enjoy the fantastic late summer colours and florals. Our last visit was 6 years ago and I couldn’t believe how well the plants at matured and the attractions changed!

I loved the swarm of honey bees enjoying the flowers on a huge lavender hill and the robins jumping around underneath the huge sunflowers. I also got lots of inspiration for small space gardening, and planting vegetables in hanging baskets, one to try next year!

My favourite photo from the trip was the one capturing the broom in the foreground of one of the famous domes. This is the exact spot I took my Broom photo which has been sitting on my mood board since 2008 and was one of the many inspirations behind the Broom and Bee design.
