Glamping at Otter camp with Canopy & Stars

As my first wedding anniversary was approaching I couldn’t let the opportunity pass to head off glamping again and after our wonderful trip to Dandelion hideaway last year we have high expectations!

We have a great time staying at Otter Camp which found via one of my favourite website, Canopy & Stars. We had a couple of shepherds huts in a clearing along a crystal clear stream in Worcestershire! Made complete by the wood burning hot tub, which turned out to be essential after we decided to take a May Day paddle in the stream.

When we arrived our hosts handed us a package from Canopy & Stars wishing us a happy anniversary with some lovely treats inside! I was really touched that they went to such effort!

Our hosts were kind enough to leave us some fresh eggs on our first morning along with a map of local walks which took us along some of the Thames. We saw rabbits, robins, a bullfinch, deer, dragonflies and bees. I was in my element, and my camera at the ready at all times!

After 3 days of living our doors with the husband and Jenkins the dog, and cooking all of our meals on the campfire (food photos coming soon) but the break has put a spring in my step and has already inspired a couple of new designs! Think long tailed tit and lots and lots of branches!

Here are some of my favourite photos from the from the weekend, including the one of Jenkins after 10miles he refused to walk anymore!
