It was that time of year again, at Cockpit Arts we opened our doors to the Public for our Summer open studios. The weather was fantastic for both weekends so I really appreciate all of our customers, old and new that came to visit us in the heat!
In our Deptford studio we had two fans going all day and we were giving out iced drinks to those that came to visit. We were lucky that we managed to make our studio one of the coolest in the building.
We were also showing off our new deck chair, custom made for our display on the 1st floor. It’s such a comfortable chair, we ended up getting 5 orders just on the Saturday!! I think everyone is thinking about how nice they are in the heat! I’ve been using mine at home on my roof terrace, reading my new book, British Summers in London do have their perks if you have a bit of outdoor space to call your own!
Remember we only open our doors twice a year, and our next open studio dates are fixed for November and December 2017, so watch this space!
