Warwick – Red Sky inspiration

My best ideas come to me when I’m not over thinking, therefore holidays, weekends and away and walking the dog are times when I find my ideas flow. This is exactly what happened last weekend when I went away with my in-laws to Norfolk.

Norfolk is such a beautiful place especially the gorgeous little village we were staying in. I must have driven everyone mad, they were constantly waiting for me to catch them up after spending ages getting the right angle to photograph the bumble bee or for the sunlight to pop up from behind the cloud to flood the lens and create beautiful silhouettes with the tree branches. My favourite image from the trip was this image of an oak tree over 800 years old. It was exactly this type of old oak tree than inspired the Warwick Design back in the village I grew up in. The Royal oak created beautiful silhouettes against a red setting sun.
