What will the world do now – follow on success

I had a lovely email from June Olsen, owner of the blog nostalgiecat. You can see my original post about getting involved with June’s project here where she and a number of other designers from Norway were creating an art auction and a series of events to raise money to help provide better aid for the Syrian Refugee’s.

The event was a huge success, the art auction raised nearly 30,000 with our Warwick cushions and lampshade selling for £200. They now have a new home in the town hall of Fjell, Norway. See more about the inspiration behind that design here

June is now building on the momentum of the vent and hopes to inspire and encourage people all over the world to use the power of culture to stand up for humanity and solidarity.
