British Bird Lampshade

Lorna’s lampshade are beautiful luxury hand-made lampshades. They are made to order in three set sizes, including 20cm, 30cm and 40cm. The 30cm and 40cm lampshades have reversible gimbals so they can be used as lampshade shades for the ceiling and also for table lamps.

Lampshades are all made to order and can take up to 10 days to arrive with you, especially at business times of the year such as Christmas. If you’ve ordered a lampshade alongside other products please note that the lampshade will arrive separately

This bird lampshade is made from 100% cotton and digitally printed in the UK.

Our medium and large hand rolled lampshades have a reversible hinge so they can be hung from the ceiling or used on a lamp.

Great Tit Lampshade (Juneberry and Bird)

Juneberry and Bird, the most popular of Lorna Syson’s prints, brings accent splashes of refreshing blue and yellow to brighten up your space. Elegant enough for bedrooms and living rooms but also cute enough for a nursery. This gorgeous blue tit lampshade features illustrated birds on hand-made lampshades, made in the UK and hand rolled. The fabric we use is high quality digitally printed on organic 100% cotton and also printed in the UK

As a child these beautiful Great Tits nestled outside Lorna’s bedroom window. Integral to British hedgerows, she fondly remembers growing up next to these colourful birds and recreated her childhood memories of them in a series of printed accessories.

Robin Lampshade

A regular visitor to Lorna’s childhood garden, the Robin is a familiar and endearing bird. Spotted throughout the year in town gardens and country hedgerows, they make charming, inquisitive  companions. However, it’s at Christmas, when their red breast and delightful song cuts through the winter frost and Robins are welcomed merrily as festive guests.

Bullfinch Lampshade

The bright feathery peach breasts of the Bullfinch are a delight to see feasting on flower buds in woods of the British Isles. Their secretive disposition makes them even more of a treasure to see and Lorna remembers the thrill of spotting them as a child. This lampshade captures their vivid colouring and stolen moments shared with them on the forest floor.

As a child exploring the lowland marshes around her home, Lorna used to find flocks of Willow Tit huddled in the willow thickets. A beautiful coat of brown, black, white and grey, you can often spot them hopping across the UK’s woodland grounds.

Greenfinch Lampshade

Part of Lorna’s Garden collection inspired by the native flora and fauna found in our verdant domestic gardens. Lorna’s love of British gardens has led her to explore a whole range of outdoor spaces, from the formal gardens of stately homes to her own Brockley roof terrace and she has incorporated the shapes and shades of many well-loved favourites.

Long Tailed Tit Lampshade

This elegant grey/blue lampshade featuring pink birds in Magnolia trees was inspired by walks in South London. Our medium and large hand rolled lampshades have a reversible hinge so they can be hung from the ceiling or used on a lamp.
