My Long Tailed Tit lampshade combines delicate birds and magnolia branches in a soft grey-blue and pink palette. The illustrated pattern brings detail to your room, making it a lovely addition to a bedside table, living room lamp or ceiling pendant.

Designed by me, Lorna Syson, an independent designer based in South Oxfordshire, it celebrates the small encounters with nature that inspire my work.

Inspired by walks in South London

This design grew from walks in South London, where flowering trees and visiting birds offered inspiration among the streets and gardens.

Part of my Bloom collection, Long Tailed Tit reflects my love of photographing wildlife among flowering plants and shrubs. Translating these observations into illustration allows me to share the details that catch my eye and bring them into everyday interiors.

Handmade in the UK

Each Long Tailed Tit lampshade is made to order using 100% cotton fabric, digitally printed in Lancashire and handmade into a shade in Bolton.

Pattern placement varies depending on where the fabric is cut, so the arrangement of birds and magnolia branches may differ slightly from the photographs.

Styling your bird and magnolia lampshade

Pair Long Tailed Tit with natural wood and textured fabrics for a relaxed bedroom. Pick out the pink details through cushions or a throw, or repeat the grey-blue tones in curtains and accessories.

Lampshades are all made to order and can take up to 10 days to arrive with you, especially at business times of the year such as Christmas. If you’ve ordered a lampshade alongside other products, please note that the lampshade will arrive separately

The fabric is digitally printed in Lancashire, UK, on 100% cotton fabric and handmade into lampshades in Bolton.

Returns
All of our items are made with great care and we hope you like them. However, if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase please return it in the original packaging and unused within 30 days. Please contact us for a returns form.
