I’m absolutely thrilled (and still a little stunned!) to share that I’ve been named Best Independent Print Designer 2025 – Oxfordshire at the SME Business Awards!

It means so much to have this recognition, especially as a small independent business rooted in a love of nature, sustainability, and design. When I started out, I never imagined that my hand-drawn birds and countryside-inspired patterns would go on to decorate so many homes — and be part of so many special moments.

Creating Bluebell DesignTo be honest, it’s not just an award for me. It’s for every one of you who’s supported me along the way — whether you’ve bought a card, gifted a candle, sent a kind message, or simply followed along. You’ve helped keep independent design alive, and I’m beyond grateful.

Each piece I create is inspired by the British wildlife and landscapes I love — from the gentle hum of bees to the rustle of hedgerow leaves. And every product is designed to be both beautiful and long-lasting, whether it’s a cushion, a greeting card, or one of our reusable ceramic candles.

“This award feels like a big hug for everything I believe in — joyful design, connection to nature, and supporting small makers.”

Thank you for being part of this journey. I couldn’t have done it without you — and I can’t wait to see where we go next.
