Robin Lampshade – The British robin is a much loved garden bird all year round and especially at Christmas. A regular visitor to Lorna’s childhood garden, the Robin is a familiar and endearing bird. Lorna’s eye was drawn to the lush leaves of ivy cascading down the walls of a Georgian home on her walk to the studio when she lived in London. Lorna had to include the blue tit in her designs. As a child exploring the lowland marshes around her home, Lorna used to find flocks of Willow Tits huddled in the willow thickets.
